Bois Marquis is a large garden or arboretum in France, and I wanted to take romantic pictures in a place that is primarily a collection of trees. Composition wise, I knew the scenery would be hard to exploit, but this was part of the challenge. The opportunity came during a sunny morning in October, with the appearance of autumn colours.
