I found many footman moth pupae cocooning on the white outer wall of this building. Two chose the same place to cocoon, maybe they thought it's the safest place to settle.

They are like architects; weaving cocoons with their poisonous hair, and hiding in them to avoid being attacked by insects such as parasitic wasps and ants.
