Passion Flowers
The Beauty of plantsImage details - Passion Flowers
Description
I create my photographs by arranging plants (from my quarter acre garden) on a flatbed scanner and scanning them to a computer, where I edit them in post-processing. Each photo takes between two to five hours to arrange, and several weeks of editing.
In this image, I am showcasing a number of hybrid passion flowers which I have bred – progeny from the cold hardy Passiflora caerulea and other cultivars. If ever a flower can serve as a muse for both art and science, it is the passion flower.
