The scenery of the Inner Hebrides in September is very charming, but the weather here is very changeable. When I got up at three in the morning, ready to set off, there was a heavy rain in the sky, I drove to the starting point of ‘The Old Man of Storr’ rock pinnacle, and waited for the opportunity to capture it.

I started hiking in the thick fog, and after more than an hour, I staggered to this vantage point. I gritted my teeth (due to the cold) and hid among the rock crevices, waiting for the dawn to come when the morning light finally revealed ‘The Old Man’.
