Description
I spotted this couple of small red-eyed damselflies at rest on a submerged twig at a local pond. On this particular day, the conditions were perfect for reflections due to there being no wind, and the overcast sky meant overexposing caused the water to render as white. This species is a recent coloniser to the UK (1999), and the ponds found at this location provide a sanctuary for damselflies.
