I went on a walk around Mortimer Forest, Shropshire in the most wonderful conditions for woodland photography. The forest was covered in carpets of vibrant autumnal leaves, and the morning was blessed with fog which lasted most of the day.

This long, slender tree appeared on a foggy horizon and immediately drew myself (and others I was with) to it; supplied with the perfect light and framing from surrounding trees.
