I captured this group of Astrantia flowers (also known as Hattie's pincushion or masterwort) backlit, by the summer sun. I cropped in to focus more on the single flower and added a little contrast and vibrancy, I then added a texture layer in Photoshop which was made by taking an out-of-focus photo of the same scene. I find this way the colours always work and it added to the ethereal quality of the picture.
