Murano is a group of seven small islands linked together via bridges – located about 1 mile north of Venice, I visited only for a few hours on a beautiful day in early November. It is famous for its traditional glassblowing, but I was drawn first to its fabulous architecture and tree lined streets.

This building was a very interesting shape and provided a viewpoint into two streets at the same time; it was beautifully complemented by the airy nature of the trees around it.
