Description
Wells is a beautiful medieval city in the county of Somerset. Within the city is Vicars’ Close, built over 650 years ago - it is claimed to be the oldest, purely residential street with original buildings surviving intact, in Europe. I discovered this wonderful little street whilst exploring the city and planned to come back the following day at sunrise.
This was primarily to capture the early morning colours and light, but also to have the street free of the throngs of people it attracts during the day.
