In The English Garden

Description
I photographed at the Royal Palace of Caserta (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) in spring, in The English Garden;
where the twisted branches of this majestic Magnolia x soulangeana tree were dressed in a multitude of pink flowers.
The pond, where the large tree overlooks, is a romantic setting enhanced by natural beauty and ancient ruins. The English Garden was started in 1786 by botanist John Andrew Graefer in co-operation with the architect Carlo Vanvitelli himself.
