It was summertime when I captured this scene of an upturned lily leaf and tree frog in the Dabie Mountains. I was initially attracted to the beautiful network of leaf veins but when I kneeled down to get a closer look the frog climbed onto the leaf to rest; I was careful not to disturb it as I composed the shot.
