Chinatown Monarda
Greening the CityImage details - Chinatown Monarda
Description
Chicago's Chinatown is a densely-populated triangle surrounded by rail lines and the Chicago River. The lack of green space in the neighbourhood was improved with the construction of Ping Tom Memorial Park along the river, and in turn, the park has been improved with a large section of native prairie planting. This photo was taken at dusk, with the open space providing views to the Sears (Willis) Tower and skyline in the distance.
