I have never photographed or looked closely at a Cyclamen plant before, but upon inspection, I found the leaf pattern striking and the unusual whirling petals almost butterfly-like. By converting the photo to black and white, and by applying filters it emphasizes the unusual petal shapes, seemingly floating above the marbled foliage.
