About Sheila Adam
I’ve always loved wild flowers and trees. Digital photography is made for discovery and experimentation. Every year I look forward to trying something different and getting closer to that elusive picture in my minds eye.I get the best results when I melt fully into the process of making pictures, staying open to the possibilities of light, angle and shape as they unfold moment by moment. Post capture work is deliberately minimal (small contrast adjustments for light and colour mainly.) I don't use photoshop or similar. The tones in Scotland are very subtle and extremely easy to get wrong.
I use a Sony A7R11 camera; macro lens (Sony FE 90mm F2.8 OSS), and 35mm lens (FE 35mm F1.4 ZA).My photography is self taught and has been a very important part of my life for a number of years now.
