My main interest in photography lies within the genre of up close / macro photography, its like a window into an unknown world. The majority of my second year of my A-level Photography course was spent pushing the boundaries of my 50mm fixed lens, which at the time was the closest I was going to get to owning a macro lens, I went from attempting one's perspective when looking at up close shots of flowers in comparison to insects and bug life to looking at fungi, focusing on texture, detail, shape and form. I get a lot of joy out of exploring the natural world from a varying perspective.
