An idyllic childhood in rural South Africa fostered a love for the natural world and the quiet freedom associated with open spaces and wide horizons. My photography, greatly influenced by my formative years,  focuses on the elemental and simplicity of form. An eclectic photographer, I do not limit myself to any particular genre or style although my preference is for the expressiveness found in black and white imagery.
