Michelle Newport is an internationally published fine art flower and landscape photographer. She discovered her love of photography in 2016 when her husband, who was interested in photography, encouraged her to try it.  Michelle took various courses covering portrait, architecture, still life, and nature photography. Through this exploration, she discovered her true passion for capturing landscapes and floral images. Michelle loves viewing details through her camera that can so often be overlooked in passing. Her love for capturing the vibrant colors, intricate textures, and delicate details in flowers, as well as the beauty and grandeur of majestic landscapes and the whimsical charm of forests can be seen in her images. She finds immense joy in capturing the beauty that God creates and sharing that amazing beauty with others.

I am a self-taught photographer. I studied different types of photography through online tutorials and videos.  I have taken thousands of images over the past 8 years and have a passion for floral and landscape photography.  My image 'Autumn in Pisgah' was chosen as a Finalist in the 2019 Great Outdoors Photography Competition held by Outdoor Photographers Magazine.  I have also been honored to have several of my images published in Photography Week Magazine.
