A serious hobbyist photographer, I concentrate mostly on indoor subjects and my garden. I love the artistic side of photography, having been a painter for many years and I find I can enjoy still life subjects just as well with a camera. My interests lie in both what is considered traditional Still Life and also the more modern/minimalist artwork.  I take the occasional foray into abstract work and as I am fortunate enough to have a large lake, that is part of the Ifield Mill Pond , nearby, there are plenty of  wildlife, trees and nature subjects. to explore.In the garden I can find beautiful flowers and the odd wildlife visitors. The flowers, of course, lend themselves very much to intriguing macro studies and artistic experiments.
