About Catherine Reznitchenko

I am a fineart photographer living in Normandie, France. Raised into a family of Russian aristocrats, I was born in Germany in 1970.Raised by my grandfather, I studied literature, painting and classical music. It is my adolescence, thanks to a neighbor photographer who offered me one of his film camera, that I was initiated to photography.First I tried out portraiture and street photography, then turned to heritage and landscape photography. Capturing the nuances of light and their ephemeral poetry, I attach myself to fix on an image this fragile moment during which something eternal seems to have manifested itself.Awards:

4th prize in "Light of Day 2018" international competition.
