I spent almost a decade studying the biology and conservation of reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates.  This work led to my Ph.D. in conservation biology.  My photography focuses on these often overlooked and under-appreciated animals.  I try not only to capture their beauty, but also to help raise awareness about the importance of their conservation.
