I'm primarily an outdoor photographer originally specialising in dramatic landscapes in the UK. I now photograph in a more abstract and impressionistic style using techniques such as multiple exposure and ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and strive to make these images as much in camera as is possible. My desire is to make art with my camera rather than reflecting reality and love to make intriguing and interesting images of everyday scenes and subjects whatever the light and weather.I use a Fuji mirrorless digital camera with various classic/vintage lenses. Whilst the kit enables me to make my work I'm a great believer in the image, or idea for an image, to be formed first in my imagination and then realised through the camera medium.

I love to share and teach photography and I'm an experienced freelance photography workshop tutor with many years of photography underpinning my skills and knowledge. I've previously sold prints and had images published in several photography publications and some moderate success in local and national photography competitions.
