The floral displays of wild Papaver (poppies) are always abundant in the West Midlands. We're quite lucky in that, year-on-year though the locations of the fields change, you can almost always guarantee a poppy field will pop up relatively close by. I chose to capture at sunrise so I had the location all to myself.
