Wild Orchids by Stephen Davis
A series of simple portraits of wild British orchids highlighting the diversity, delicacy and vulnerability of this fascinating group of plants, occurring in the most precious of our endangered unimproved grassland habitats, chalk downs and hay meadows. Taken in natural light, in situ, against a white background.
The plants captured include; Dactylorhiza fuchsii, Ophrys apifera, Anacamptis pyramidalis, Gymnadenia conopsea, Himantoglossum hircinum, and Dactylorhiza praetermissa.
