We’d like you to explore and enjoy Hardwick and in the process discover the lives, loves and adventures of the creators of Hardwick. Winning images from the internationally acclaimed International Garden Photographer of the Year Competition (IGPOTY) will be taking centre stage at the world-class heritage gardens of Hestercombe this September. The exhibition will be displayed on the IGPOTY outdoor structure consisting of 12 panels. This will enable an exhibition of around 40 winning images from the competition’s 12th year; which will offer a rich and varied display for visitors. Hestercombe will be the only place during this period in Somerset that visitors will be able to see the exhibition. Included in the exhibition is the highly original Abstract Views category, pushing the genre and expanding perceptions of nature. It also produced the overall winning image by Jill Welham entitled ‘Fireworks’, which will be on display at Hestercombe.
