International Garden Photographer of the Year is planned to tour to National Trust (NT) Bodnant Garden, in Conwy, North Wales, for the very first time in 2025!

This exciting and prestigious IGPOTY Exhibition will show a curated selection of higher-placed awarded images from Competition 18.

Enjoy exploring a selection of amazing IGPOTY award-winning images from across the world, displayed outdoors and in large format.

In addition, a selection of higher-placed awarded photographs from the 'Life at Bodnant Garden' (Competition 19) Special Award will also be on display as part of this exhibition.

Please note: the majority of the exhibition text content will be displayed bilingually in both the English and Welsh languages.

Bodnant Garden is a living, breathing work of art. From the manicured lawns and terraces to the wilder, more naturalistic riverside walks, the 80 acre garden is a photographer’s dream. Developed over 150 years, the plant collection, arboretum and views are world renowned.

With intimate corners, sweeping lawns, grand terraces and verdant woodland, there are many gardens in one at Bodnant. Created over 150 years, with plants collected and brought to Britain from far afield, and the incredible vision of generations of the McLaren family and Puddle head gardeners, this haven of rarity and beauty with a stunning backdrop of the Carneddau mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) is a delight for the senses. With year-round colour, the garden can be whatever you want it to be, whether that's a hive of activity or a haven of tranquility and relaxation, this is truly a special place for all ages.
