About Cannon Hall Museum Park & Gardens
The IGPOTY tour continues on to historic Cannon Hall in Barnsley. This fine 17th century hall is surrounded by 70 acres of green parkland. From 1757 some of the best surveyors, landscapists and gardeners were hired to create a spectacular setting for the Hall, much of which remains today.
In 2020 Cannon Hall will play host to the 13th annual IGPOTY exhibition content displayed on an all weather outdoor structure.
In addition to this a dedicated photographic award 'Beautiful Barnsley' was run with the results put on display at a special award exhibition at Cannon Hall Museum from 25 September 2020 – 28 February 2021.
