European Garden Photography Award
Competition 18 - Special award
About European Garden Photography Award
We're proud to offer the European Garden Photography Award, this time as part of IGPOTY 18, in conjunction once again with Schlosspark Dennenlohe of Germany.
This award is an opportunity to get your photography noticed within the European garden media community, receiving significant exposure both in Germany and the UK.
Judges will be on the lookout for stunning photography of private and public gardens across Europe only.
Depending on the decision of Schlosspark Dennenlohe – a selection of higher placed winners may have their work on show at the awards ceremony hosted there (TBC).
Insights
Images of any public or private garden (permission must be obtained) across Europe (excluding the UK) can be entered into this Award. The aim of the Award is to showcase European Gardens.
Please remember to seek permission from all garden owners before entry. As this is a 'Single Entry' category, each image will be judged on its own merit, garden photography is preferred over macro plant photography. Animals/wildlife should not be the main focus of your entries.
Wider benefits
This Special Award is supported by Schlosspark Dennenlohe, one of Bavaria's finest baroque castles and home to the largest Rhododendron park in southern Germany. The results normally gain coverage in Germany, and the UK.
