Considered the spiritual heart of Australia (and a UNESCO World Heritage Site) the giant monolith of Uluru brought a sense of awe as I watched the rock light up with the colours of sunset.

In the foreground many species of plants can be seen, having adapted to the harsh, arid conditions and in the background of this panorama you can also see the spiritual Kata Tjuta formations.
