Nature provides its own artistic touches, as these unfolding stamens of the Callistemon  illustrate. As someone who seeks out art in nature, I was thrilled when I saw this flower emerging. These little ball-shaped bundles are so elegant; the compacted filaments are already in the process of unfurling as stamens.
