I photographed this wheat ear with leaf in my office in front of a netted window giving natural
light. I used white foam board for reflectors and a desk light for some extra light. I used a dark fleece coat for the background colour, as it would be out of focus, then one basic reflection manipulation to create the final image. I normally weed my garden regularly but recently have let other plants and grasses grow as they arrive so I had some more photo opportunities close to hand, perhaps ones that I wouldn't otherwise have considered. It was very windy on the day - so I had to bring the ear inside.
