Description
The attraction of the sea campion’s flower is not its rather unimpressive white petals, but the large inflated calyx, with its purple tracery of veins. The plant was grown from seed supplied by my local botanic garden, so that the pot could be brought into the studio, to shoot using focus stacking software.
