Description
Plants that are not quite perfect, proudly displaying the same markings that age and history bring to a face, are particularly beautiful to me. The Palm House at Kew offered me this specimen. The palm fronds provide a luscious canopy for us to wander through. The character of each plant is thrillingly different. With a 100mm macro lens I felt I could capture the palm leaves in their incredible graphic strength.
