The Potting Shed
MonochromeImage details - The Potting Shed
Description
A view inside the potting shed at York Gate Garden, which is a one acre plot created by the Spencer family during the second half of the twentieth century. The garden was bequeathed to the charity ‘Perennial’ in 1994, so that it could be enjoyed by the public.
I was inspired to take the photograph because I liked the attractive port-hole window looking out onto the beautiful garden beyond. The tools lay ready as they must have laid for many years, I could imagine the gardener working in the shed, enjoying the view of his creation.
