Cosmos flowers have such delicate petals and this is where their beauty lies, particularly if looked at against a clear blue sky.
Purposely taken from a very low position enabling me to focus on the underneath side of the petals.
There is light coming from above through the petals while the stem is unlit providing a strong contrast.
