Knoll Gardens is a plant nursery and demonstration garden specialising in ornamental grasses. A light mist still hung over the backlit scene of perennial seedheads and grasses on a September morning. Set against the darkness of the pine canopy, it drew my attention and the garden vista glimpsed through the branches, lent it a depth that I found quite seductive.
