The delicate, lace-like skeletons of Hydrangea petals resemble tiny windmills, their intricate veins forming fragile, yet mesmerising patterns. Time has worn away the soft petals, leaving behind a filigree of nature's finest craftsmanship. With this image, I wanted to highlight the beauty of transience – where decay turns into art, and fragility reveals strength. I combined a flashed macro shot and a silhouette of the same flower into a single image using the in-camera double exposure function.
