This photo was taken on an early January morning in the gardens of Kenwood House, as daylight transformed the wintry landscape; I wanted to capture the sun rising behind the lake's decorative (yet false) white bridge façade, known as the Sham Bridge. I was rewarded with a beautiful clear sunrise, the sun breaking through the mist and bare tree branches, illuminating frost covered shrubs around the icy lake.
