The photo depicts a short-tailed blue butterfly resting on a lesser burnet flower head. I took it at dawn, shooting against the light, which allowed me to capture plenty of flares and bokeh that filled the entire frame. To create the impression that the meadow incandesces with golden light, I waited until the sun became a bit stronger.
