Many people head to Tuscany in the springtime and for good reason. The area is known for its stunning rolling landscapes, but for me, the magic comes from the wildflowers found in various fields.

Each year they seem to change, so you end up chasing them around trying to find the perfect spot to capture them. This particular scene is in the Crete Senesi area, which is between Siena and the famous Val d'Orcia. Each year that I have been you can either find wildflowers or there is crop in the field. This panoramic image has been created by combining ten separate portrait images.
