The ‘Ilice di Carrinu’ is a venerable holm oak tree aged over seven hundred years old, that rises in a forest on the slopes of the Etna volcano in Sicily. A survivor of the ages, it is a huge and suggestive tree that transmits us greatness and peace. I created this image with a manual multiple exposure technique, moving myself around the tree and then combining the photos in post-processing.
