This photograph captures a single mushroom nestled amongst the rich autumn foliage (in Hopwas Woods), its earthy tones blending seamlessly with the fallen leaves around it. I was struck by the subtle harmony between the fungi and its surroundings, as the mushroom almost appeared to be a natural extension of the forest floor. I took this image to celebrate the intricate details of the forest in autumn, where even the smallest subjects contribute to the rich tapestry of seasonal change.
