Description
I took this photo of the candlesnuff fungus – Xylaria hypoxylon which despite its spooky appearance, contains both antiviral and antimicrobial properties and may have potential against human carcinomas. I was very happy when I found this mushroom, because I didn’t know about it before – their appearance is quite varied, so I can experiment a lot.
