A plant that can so easily be overlooked as it grows wild on verges and amongst long grasses near the coast where I live. Daucus carota, is known as 'Queen Anne's Lace', and when you look closer you can see why. The seedheads are so delicate and intricate they can compete with the most beautiful of flowers. This image is comprised of three images of the plant (at different stages of opening), which I combined, added texture and manipulated the colour in post-processing.
