The sun is shining through the peony petals to give the effect of transparency and airy bokeh. To complement this, I added out-of-focus backgrounds in post-processing – to increase the harmony with the soft and dreamy look. Focus stacking enabled me to bring the crisp detail of petals and vaguely see the shadow of stamens.
