I was attracted to the deep colour of this anemone, and when it opened – the pristine, contrasting, tightly packed golden stamen were revealed. This image is made up of eight separate images, focus stacked in-camera. My objective in focus stacking was to get the whole of the centre sharp, whilst keeping the surrounding petals looking slightly soft.
