This beautiful anemone was photographed indoors with a macro lens using a shallow depth of field so that the deep black stamen were in focus, surrounded by out-of-focus silvery purple petals to produce a soft and dreamy image. To elevate the image, the original white background was replaced in Adobe Photoshop with a graduated background texture.
