Dried Hosta leaves have amazing patterns and textures which look especially intricate when photographed with backlighting. They are quite yellow after drying but when inverted, become a beautiful blue that looks like a cyanotype. By duplicating, reversing and then blending layers I have created a symmetrical pattern that has a depth, that invites you into the picture.
