Climbers and Trails at the Waterlily House
Captured at KewImage details - Climbers and Trails at the Waterlily House
Description
I visited the Waterlily House at Kew Gardens in September 2024. Besides the stunning aquatic plants, the glasshouse (which opened in 1852), also features beautiful climbers and other colourful plants.
This image was created using an in-camera double exposure, to capture two elements of the Waterlily House: the climbers trailing along the glasshouse windows and the intricate gastropod trails on the glass panes. During post-processing, it was converted into monochrome, with a green tint added.
