Marbled White Butterfly (Melanargia galathea) among grasses in our meadow. The inflorescences of the grasses created such drama and movement, yet it all was so fragile and ephemeral.

I love capturing these moments. In summer I often get up before sunrise to explore life in our meadow. It took many days of patient stalking before I was able to get close enough with my Lensbaby and macro converter.
