Description

The little wattlebird – Anthochaera chrysoptera is a honeyeater; it feeds mainly on nectar. Like other banksias, the flower spikes of Banksia spinulosa (hairpin banksia) may contain hundreds of individual flowers. I like the geometry of this photo, which I took in my garden in Wollongong.
